The Ensembles

The Association rehearses and normally promotes four graded ensembles to cater for a wide ability range. These are the Doncaster Youth Stageband, the Doncaster Youth Swing Orchestra, the Doncaster Youth Jazz Orchestra and the senior alumni Doncaster Jazz Orchestra.

A striving for diversity has seen the emergence of specialised smaller ensembles, e.g. jazz octet, saxophone quintet, dance combo, etc.
